Unlike the vaccines that require a specialized factory with certain very specific kinds of equipment, Brilacidin could be manufactured in "normal" pharmaceutical settings.

The reason that the president can't invoke the Defense Production Act to direct other facilities to manufacture more vaccine is -- there aren't such facilities to take over.

Brilacidin, however, could be manufactured much more easily and quickly.
I'm not worried about being able to manufacture a lot of supply, if it proves to be useful and there is huge demand.
