The comparison wasn't about geographic size but rather policy and the disparity in the number of people affected/killed by that policy So no. I wouldn't have said that.
We'll see how quickly TX abandons conservative orthodoxy when it comes to regulating utilities or taking advantage of the same federalized power grid the rest of the nation uses.
I have no hope for those who persist in believing that llbs are THE problem when 500K deaths and another f'in GOP recession are obviously more serious than Seattle's drug program.
And I bet Seattle fixes that before TX abandons GOP economic dogma..
