What's missing from that PR is how many of the trial's patients were on HFNC, the subset they say showed the most improvement.
Once again it's not surprising that the ability to show efficacy in these trials depends on having a large enough subpopulation in the worst shape.
And the added weight applied to results from the extended time of their trial, in their case 60 days, does make our delay for results look like Cytodyn's discussions with the FDA may be incorporating a longer timeline as well.””””
