Conversations that never happen:
NP: “Hello FDA? We have our data finally, and we haven’t had time to analyze, but just eyeballing it looks like maybe we’re better than saline by a tiny bit.”
FDA’s from Canada, US, UK: “Gee, sorry to hear that. Want to talk about it? Like for two to three weeks?”
NP: “Sure, just let me let my shareholders know that we’re talking about something that is sensitive and to give us two or three weeks to talk to you guys and get over this disappointment.”
FDA’s: “Anything you need! We know there’s this raging pandemic, but you’re really going to need our support these next few weeks and we’re happy to be here for you, Nader.”
NP: “Thanks guys, you’re really the best. Nobody could ask for better regulators.”
Nader fails to hold back tears as everyone virtually hugs over zoom. Fade.
