Then why announce anything? Unblinding isn’t a material event.
Actually when I asked the board several weeks ago what the very first bit of important news we should anticipate, the answer was overwhelming "the data has been unblinded". So we get a simple PR today saying that the unblinding occured, consults and results in coming weeks.
We got exactly what I was told to expect from most folks here. As it looks most folks on here are very pleased with the PR as they expected it. Only a few uncertain.
