But I have also gone out on customer calls with reps from a previous Pharma I worked for and found out just how many doctors didn’t know the differences between drug choices for specific diseases. Word of mouth between doctors works , along with some of the other things mentioned but it’s not black and white. Sales teams fill in the gaps and do improve sales of products. If they weren’t effective in doing so, you wouldn’t need sales people,
