Seems to me like delta32 genotype data would have been potentially helpful in getting LL approved for covid, but I guess it doesn't matter now.
Perhaps there are other drugs which have been approved based upon mimicing some genetic trait of protected populations.
For every LL human trial in the future, delta32 genotype may be a significant data point towards FDA approval if you can show zero homozygous out of hundreds of patients.
