No one of course has all the answers, but they should know the basic process. They should know the standards. They should know the certification process, the peer review, etc...
They should know. They are in this business. Have been for years. It is not new to them.
That being said, we can all sit here and look at the what ifs, what should have been, what can be.
My expectation is that there needs to be a PR next week telling us all what is going on, not secondhand news, because translation gets lost in the message, but a PR straight from the company detailing what is going on, how long, how does it affect everything currently including China, the uplist.
It's really that simple.
