Patterson has an iWatch competitor.
Patterson announced they are working on an app.
The app will collect blood pressure, heart rate, heart rate variability and patient can self-report other items, like how they are feeling at any given moment.
The new app will be available in two to three months, but of course that means probably at least six as I suspect App development is not a strong point for the team.
Patterson said they have hardware for the new app.
The watch hardware costs "significantly less than other products on the market" or something like that.
The obvious shade toss at Apple is interesting because the Patterson/Yo project is a perfect fit for the big data dreams of Google and Apple in medicine.
