This week has been a dream come true!
Still, I would not be surprised to see a Friday Afternoon Beat-Down like so many times in the past.
I could be wrong. this run seems to have stronger legs.
I can't seem to ever get a good deal at the day-trading level. The Haggle-bot Algorithms get me to buy at the peak of the day every time...
But I have an analogy:
I rented a new Toyota on my last vacation in Sep. 2019. Unlike my seventeen-year-old Hyundai, It had the new adaptive cruise control.. I really liked it overall. It did well when in a line of traffic following the car ahead at close range, but in open country if there were twenty cars stopped at a light a half-mile ahead, It would run up on them at full speed, then panic-stop at about 100 yards out.
I think the day-trader bots we all bid against have it over me short term, but like that car, they are not capable of long-range forecasting. (yet).
