I understand what your saying about the Vaccines and maybe adapting to control these variants that are mutating. But it is wishful thinking at this point because as time goes on more and more of these variants are coming to light. It’s becoming scary to everyone because the effectiveness on the vaccines is diminished each time it seems. Dr. Patterson stated this as a problem long ago and said that it was slower to mutate than HIV but it could mutate enough that there could be no vaccine that will cover all the mutations just like HIV doesn’t have a effective vaccine. I would hope that in 6 months that we will have better vaccines. Fact is we don’t know if we can keep up with these mutations. It’s flat scary for all of us.
We think we know that leronlimab will help our pandemic we hope and pray it helps. I am like everyone that wants to make some money on this but would give up that money with a deal with the government to have a team of the FDA to progress our other indications of Leronlimab. Basically if you want this covid treatment for free dedicate a team to help us prove our other indications in a very timely way. Only if science proves us out but not the typical slow process we have all come to love or but really hate.
The fear is there for me and for many that the vaccines will never keep up. Let’s hope that is not the case. The medical community has said that is their worry also. We must be prepared for it either way. The other point we don’t know is even if there was no mutations to consider. Just how long will a vaccine work? 3 months? 6 months? 1 year? There is nobody telling us definitely that they will last any period of time. That’s not a good thing either. All though we could live with frequent vaccinations even if they were every 3 months as long as we ramp up our abilities and get this in a mass production and application process. The question is will everyone accept this frequent option? I guess there are many questions that have been thrown around and not completely answered to everyone’s belief or understanding.
I wanna believe science wins the day. I wanna believe that Leronlimab is part of that winning. Frankly at this point we no nothing really and will continue to not know until time proves everything we hope to be true actually becomes true. Let’s hope it does...
