The definition of "scientific proof" in this case is a political fabrication by the FDA. The world gave Einstein the Nobel Prize in physics for his theory, not his proof. It took decades for for any scientific proof to come. Yet we instituted the Manhattan project based on an unproven theory. The practice of medicine is an art. It is not a science. That is why we seek out physicians who are highly skilled and with good hearts and reputations.
