Me wife and youngest son flew to Austin Texas on Friday to visit my eldest son and his steady. Great time went to Bull and Bowl Bar. It was a super spreader event. My DDD and I were the oldest people partying with a bunch of Longhorns. Food drink and fun, I did not ride the mechanical bull but every gal in the bachelorette party sure did. It was cold and people went indoorcrazy.
Got back to the air B and B Saturday night at midnight , checked our flight status for Sunday and found out the Southwest flight was changed to Tuesday. After being on hold with Southwest for 2 hours
Found out about weather forecast and decided to rent a car and drive back. Left at 7 am and got home 17 hours later at 1 am. Drove thru ice and snow the whole way. Many wrecks and spin outs and it was bitterly cold. Talked to my Texas son today. Rolling blackouts In Austin
The Reality is this. Austin will be 70 degrees this Sunday and back to normal before the Federallies can work any magic. Trump lives in Hawks head, I live in beautiful southern Illinois and Austin is cool but a lot of homeless suffered miserably this weekend.
