You don't pay 30x revenue for a 15 year patent.
COViD is going to be with us, maybe forever. But it will never be close to as bad as we saw in the last year. Vaccines are working. Check the Israeli numbers where they have had an incredibly successful vaccine campaign. Check the US where we are behind, but seeing cases, hospitalizations, and deaths plummet. The reality of viruses is they mutate and we will have multiple strains, but the mRNA vaccines are holding up well vs the first wave of mutations. They'll have to keep reformulating over time, but again, we'll never again be without any protection like we were in 2020. Where the vaccines fail to completely prevent infections, they are helping reduce severity. It has been that way with influenza for decades, and we simply have better vaccine technology now.
