It's a ridiculous over simplification used by wannabe Wolverines to stir up insurrection against an elected government that is not a royal tyranny. THAT was the fear back then and YOU know it.
No way can you infer that today's state militias are well regulated, rather than RW morons playing soldier and conspiring to kidnap governors.
The National Guard IS the militia and they are very well armed.
Open carry your pistols and your assault rifles where legal to do so.
Brandish them, lock and load them? Stand the fuck by. If 1/6 did nothing else it's shortened the patience of at least 80M of us with the 74M of you.
