I am not a doctor or a brain researcher either, but as a humble servant I can offer this....this is pretty dense research that is way beyond most of our abilty to percolate down to direct leronlimab relevance, but I would think that like in longhaulers, an agent showing cognitive improvement would be preferred!
Medscape gives a summary
"New evidence now suggests this has been accompanied by a shift in the profile of HIV-related brain abnormalities beyond the basal ganglia, frequently implicated in the pre-cART era, to limbic structures."
"The findings indicate that plasma markers universally used to monitor immune function and response to treatment in patients with HIV infection are associated with subcortical brain volume."
"Our findings," they add, "extend beyond the classically implicated regions of the basal ganglia and may represent a generalizable brain signature of HIV infection in the cART era."

"I am not a doctor or a brain researcher, so I cannot assess it. But couldn't that be another benefit of LL?
There are some highly competent members here on the board. Could she say something about that?
