Long time lurker / first time poster.
Favorite pie? PIE IN THE SKY of course!
With whipped cream and walnuts.
Washed down with a big steaming mug of science and sass.

Well my friends, we are so close, surely you can almost taste it! Can't be too much longer but after nearly 10 months one thing I've learned from this experience is patience. And even discipline, which hasn't always been my strong suit. I'm at peace with waiting for the data to reveal itself in its time... But I can't imagine what the journey has been like for all you long-term-longs.
I'd like to say thanks to all for all the great info. I've become endlessly fascinated with the science and medicine, actually follow most links, and have learned a great deal. Not that I understand all the medical jargon and biochemistry, but even with incomplete knowledge the gestalt, the whole, seems understandable with enough relevant information. With enough data points, as it were (and a little extra research as needed).
Its a given that on a public forum like this, some will have agendas, and there will be tricksters among us, disguised as, let's say, virologists... But the collective intelligence and generosity on this board is quite remarkable. Especially in the investing world and the wild west of stock message boards. Its uplifting, and a welcome combination of aspiration and affirmation. It's not as crazy as, say, the Borg and John Galt getting jungle fever, having a baby or two, and living happily ever after... But it's pleasantly surprising. And it works. Because everyone contributes and makes it so.
Well everyone, in a weird and discombobulated world, I'm glad to have found you.
