Just about every time a new best bid or ask appears, JANE (the new Market Maker) throws a 2.5k share bid or ask on top of it. So this MM is trading both sides frequently in low quantities for themselves or for a day trader.

At least that has been true for most of yesterday afternoon and this morning.
