That sounds deeply unpleasant, and a bit of overkill for something that most people recover from on their own.
Too bad the FDA wasn't interested in a subcutaneous injection with fewer side effects and better results. I guess that's not invasive (or expensive) enough, and does nothing for Big Pharma's BMW payments.
