New info or old? Just saw a knowledgeable doctor being interviewed on “The News@ CNBC. Good overview of Covid-19 and what is understood and what isn’t. He claims that besides the general lack of understanding of the longhauler syndrome, new issues are being identified which I had not heard of:
- the new variants infecting “younger people” with “mild symptoms” are also resulting in long hauler symptoms in these young people
- Covid-19 also seems to also impact the pancreas and causing type-1 diabetes
I think the lack of knowledge of all the different ways this virus causes havoc is not going to be easily resolved with our vaccines. Hoping LL can truly help beyond impacting mortality. When will the longhauler trial produce some quantitative results?
