Seems like this board is a little testy this morning. I sincerely hope I am wrong but as I understand it, is appears that some form of slavery is being advocated when it is suggested that workers should be denied wages. Even in a family owned business, while the owner and his family may deny themselves a salary in the short term to keep the business going, the non-family workers still get paid. And GNBT is a publicly traded company, can anyone site a real person, want a name here, of someone who could/would be willing to replace Joe, accepting his salary and ALL his responsibilities? Being a CEO or company president is not a beauty contest. You don’t hire a CEO because they look/act suave, sophisticated, and have a silver tongue. They get the job because they can get the job done, “warts” and all. I have worked under mean, vindictive, and incompetent CEOs that would make Joe look like a saint.
