Joe is absolutely correct - when my BP hit, I thought I'd had a mild stroke (I was around 50 at the time). I called my doctor's office and they told me to come in right away - they did some muscle strength tests and a few other things, but then said the THOUGHT it was LIKELY to be BP. As I said earlier, they said 6 weeks to 6 months to recover, with some not ever recovering the facial muscle usage.

Once it began to get better, I saw the doctor again and he said he was now sure it was BP. He did tell me it could happen again, so you're not out of the woods just because you get it once.
