I agree with you. The CEO does not need to be a medical mind. In fact it's better that he isn't. No offense to our medical minds, but I want a CEO that has a business mind.
Now, before the hornets come flying out of the nest, I have been critical of NP in this regard. But he is improving and he has taken significant steps to bring on people who compliment him.
I suspect, after we begin generating revenue, the process of bringing on talent will rapidly increase.
At the end of the day NP got us to this point and I will never forget his contributions. We all have weaknesses and a true leader recognizes his or her weaknesses and brings on the talent to compliment. I believe he is and will continue to do so.
