Agreed, but there ARE other effective vaccines. There are no effective therapeutics. Very few people will care if they get a J&J vaccine or a Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, so long as they get one. Many people will care if they live or die.

There is a slight chance that the FDA might notice some urgency.
