I don't know how Janet Yellen is positioning herself, but I suspect it isn't as counsel to Robinhood.
And also, as much as folks will hate me to say it, and as much as I am just learning this myself, Shorts, and Investigators, serve a valuable purpose.
I am not advocating for thieves, but just as science says, "Perhaps you are Full of Shit! Prove yourself. Or you are not science," so can Short interest (that are not thieves and do investigation) also say "Prove It!" Sometimes they uncover major fraud. They also add liquidity to the Market.
I agree wholeheartedly with your last point about the good news for our little molecule. May I add, that if we survive the gauntlet of both the nefarious attacks and the real scrutiny of science, nobody can take that away from us - Ever!
