Yes, it really shows what’s up and the importance of the 366th day of ownership. I am going to take a good hit if this goes where I think it is, then will try to take advantage as much as possible next year, as far as tax “smartness”, buy a home in one of the 9 states that do not charge additional capital gains, etc

Nine states have no capital gains tax at all. They are Alaska, Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington and Wyoming.
