I keep an all or none, good for 60 days sell order for $5/share on all of my penny stock holdings. This probably won't stop the illegal practice of "naked" shorting, but it helps stop the legal shorting, or at least it did last I knew. Keep a high ask and AON on the order and if the stock takes off you should have plenty of time to bump your ask price up accordingly.
