My response:
The above yields a reduction in death rate of about 57%, much higher than we need. If released s/c trial data, reveals LL death rate anywhere near our old eIND LL death rate (15%) the data and p value will be outstanding. Note that improved SOC can decrease death rate in both placebo and in LL groups.
Regarding 42 says, I thought that was only a proposed change applying only to the optional Interim analysis at 75% enrollment, which Nader refused in anticipation or rapid enrollment filling up to 100% at 390.
