Inclusion criteria and ARDS: Plenty of ARDS data out there.
It was pointed out that patients with partial pressure under 150mmHg are excluded from the trial, and that 150 is the midpoint of the moderate ARDS range (100-200).
First reference I came upon:
[ARDS] Mortality increases with disease severity; unadjusted hospital mortality was reported to be 35 percent among those with mild ARDS, 40 percent for those with moderate disease, and 46 percent for patients with severe ARDS [4].
