Nobody would be ghoulish enough to delay approval for political reasons when 4000 are dying a day. That was always a dumb conspiracy theory.
I'm in the camp that the FDA wants the data to justify approval.
Where I fault the FDA is not realizing our MOA made LL a frontrunner back in the spring, at which point they should have helped with money and resources to expedite the trial and get the S/C results in the summer.
