I think what people have to remember is that Covid can take up to 10 days or so to gestate, so if you were infected, don't know it, and get the vaccine 3 days later, you will still get Covid even though you got vaccinated because you already had it when you got vaccinated.

The vaccine does not protect you once you already HAVE Covid.
