Well, it sure does look better now then when I first looked at it this morning.
Was it an "overreaction?" Rightly or wrongly, I can somewhat see why it might have been "negative." When you come out with a Shelf Offering that is almost 80% of your market cap, that seems kind of Big. And it would be BIG if they were going to sell all the shares at once at the current share price. But, since they said "We may offer and sell up to $75,000,000 in the aggregate of the securities identified above from time to time in one or more offerings. This should relieve any anxiety about immediate "dilution."
As you said, "The shelf is a very transparent move by the company." Everyone knows that they (and every company) DO have to sell shares at some point. Now they can do it "Once the growth starts to move faster" with no surprise PR. Of course we all hope it is at a higher share price after some good news or fantastic 10q which would result in selling less shares.
I own five EV (Electric Vehicle) stocks that have done very well. They all had big run ups. And the first thing they all did were to have Shelf Offering which immediately brought down the share price.
At least now, VERB can Sell into the market rise.
