We couldnt do a phase one trial, because the FDA pushed us to phase 2b3 due to our impressive EIND data.
Sure, we could have fought for differing protocols designed to find optimal dosing, but then we woudl be several month (or farther) behind where we are right now.
Have to weigh the benefit with speed.
