Not even a close call. I submit that 400K dead and a economy wrecking recession are a level of personal and economic destruction far exceeding what happened over the summer.
Trump did that, with help from his supporters who scoffed at the virus....it's fake, it's no worse than the flu, you can't tell me what to do, freeDUMB.
He gathered them is super spreader rallies and garden parties and never modeled the kind of behavior the doctors recommended.
He told them it would go away, and his supporters were the only ones who behaved as though they believed him.
You can pretend it didn't happen that way, but the election was clearly a repudiation of Trump's junk science, his willful ignorance and hos tragically misguided, self interest driven, decision to downplay Covid so as not to 'panic us'. What a lethally bullshit statement that was.
