“How confident are you in the 32.7% figure in severe critical?”
32.7% is for the overall hospitalized death rate in COVID19 (According to the CDC) and does not specify between moderate, severe, or critical classification. The 32.7% likely includes some patients who died from a sudden cardiopulmonary event (or similar event) while hospitalized, but classified in the moderate category.
“Does anyone have the studies handy if mortality in the SOC severe/critical?”
This has been researched here extensively and it’s been hard to pin down. There are studies from around the world with varying number for severe and varying numbers for critical. There’s papers showing a decrease in mortality due to SOC, but another paper shows mortality unchanged in hospitals that are near or over capacity. I won’t attempt to identify an overall percent or a percent for each classification, but I’m a few of the others may post numbers/links.
