I would think there are some hedge funds that can buy OTC but probably most have wait for Nasdaq. Most SEC registered "public funds" write their prospectus "no penny stocks". The SEC calls any stock less than $5 a penny stock, how ever, once any company lists on Nasdaq the SEC no longer calls them a penny stock, so when we get to Nasdaq, we get access to the deep pockets of mutual funds and all hedge funds. Going to be fun!
