I’ve diagnosed and treated Bell’s palsy many times. No, not a fun diagnosis, but generally benign and resolves without long term damage. I described the diagnosis as benign in comparison to other disease processes that present with facial paralysis, like a stroke. I’d much rather patients have Bell’s palsy in response to the COVID19 vaccine then a stroke.
