Guys, unfortunately I could not find any explicit info regarding Brilacidin's ability to penetrate the blood-brain barrier. I assume that it is able to do so given that defensins do cross the blood brain barrier.
As an aside, does anyone know what happened to the Polycide family of compounds that IPIX (then Cellceutix) acquired along with Brilacidin? According to Wikipedia - "PolyCide compounds could be used as additives to paints, plastics, textiles and other materials to create self-sterilizing products and surfaces". This would be important in the context of the current pandemic.
