I have a theory that the 42 day readout was just incase the enrollment is too slow and when they go to 75% and 42 days later would be enough power to recommend going to the FDA for an EUA. The fact that they were able to get to full enrollment and 28 days before the 42 days at 75% is enough power for EUA, not needing the extra 14 days of supporting data to make up for the lower # of patients.
