Woodcock as FDA commissioner could be good timing for AVXL and Retts. She made the final decision to give SRPT accelerated approval for DMD, another rare disease, so she knows what these diseases entail and the impacts on families. I hope AVXL is already in discussions about accelerated approval with FDA and that Woodcock is at least tangentially involved (although I am sure she is very focused on COVID). See article below.
