They keep trying but the shorts are mainly just jumping each other back and fourth hoping for conditions to change. Ever since the June citron drop they know the SEC is watching they are squirming eager to cover there positions but they have to much pride in taking a loss so they will hold on as long as they can but for most of the shorts holding that extra one day could be the difference from a moderate loss to bankruptcy. Longs have put up with them long enough it’s about to be payback time and if your listened to last conference call Nadar called them out and will def have a surprise for them coming.
