Has it been done before? And would it really be unethical?
Those shares were worth nothing when we got them and currently are (theoretically) worth $1.25 each. Having 4 shares worth $1.25, or 1 share worth $5 is the same thing - but only one of those options gets on the Nasdaq.
I'm not saying I'm for the RS idea, but it would end up being the best business decision for GNBT - their ownership percentage doesn't get diluted. More options for GNBT to sell NGIO shares to raise funds, less immediate sell off pressure at IPO.
