I agree. Provided those 87 were inside of 28 days. Even if some were outside, the numbers work.
We've all been assuming that mortality would go down, because it is nationwide. However, it is possible that mortality in patients who reach severe/critical is the same or even higher due to comorbitities.
It's possible that the standard of care helps stronger patients thereby increasing mortality % of those who progress despite SOC.
