BioReference Provides Mandatory Fan Testing for Buffalo Bills’ Playoff Game

The Buffalo Bills have partnered with the NFL’s testing provider, BioReference Laboratories, to bring 6,772 fans into Bills Stadium for its wild-card game against the Indianapolis Colts on Jan. 9. Fans will be charged $63 per COVID-19 test and will receive their results via email from BioReference.
Each fan must visit Bills Stadium two or three days before game day to get tested for COVID-19. On game day, all fans must bring proof of their negative test result on their mobile device or in printed PDF form to gain entry into the stadium.
Tailgating outside the venue will remain banned and all concession transactions inside the stadium will be cashless. Tickets to the playoff game have already sold out. The game will mark the first large-scale fan testing program implemented at a U.S. sporting event since the outbreak of COVID-19.
