Not a doc, but both now exclude the sickest. Was a typo, < vs, >, on first term.
Exclusions:
“mechanically ventilated with PEEP >=15 cmH20
==> it takes a lot of pressure to keep the lungs open
with Pa02/FiO2 <=150 mmHg.”"
==> very poor conversion of external oxygen (Fi02) to arterial oxygen (Pa02)
Before, the markers pointed opposite directions.
