Good post taken from YMB.
There is an ever-present CYDY basher in the board named "Leron James".
He could be a paid basher and spread misinformation all the time.
Here is one:
"Per the Gates report, most will be vaccinated soon so no big need for therapeutics. If therapeutics needed, Lily has this covered with big backing from his foundation. If you see the writing on the wall, if LL approved, there is no market for it. Too late to the party. Happy New Year!!!"
He is wrong!
Here is why:
Unfortunately COVID19 will stay with us (in the developed world) for couple of yrs. Much more in the rest of the world. Besides, we've to deal with the covid long-haulers.
Here is what Bill Gates says: https://www.cnet.com/news/bill-gates-says-cor...into-2022/
Also, don't forget it's an RNA virus mutating constantly. There is a high risk that the mutant virus might be able to evade preexisting immunity, and may render vaccines (especially vaccines directed to only selective epitope/epitopes) in effective. So the virus might stay with us for couple of years.
Leronlimab has many other indications. We may see approval soon against HIV .. then many different kinds of cancers.
Finally, high probably it'd work against atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. The less severe adverse event in LL arm in the M/M CD 10 trial is most likely from decreased cardivascular events.
