A good question. I believe someone stated previously that the IPO itself could be used to "check that box". So if the IPO is set, and they can show buyer interest in the shares, the NAZ will then look forward to the IPO as bringing in the equity.
I don't have a reference for that. But I have to believe that, IF a company can show they will be bringing in $10s or $100s of millions thru their IPO, NAZ would want to bag that stock listing. And if they will trust an unaudited 10Q as proof of this equity, it seems reasonable that the IPO docs could be used?
Of course, even if this is NAZ policy, that $10s-100s MM IF still remains to be seen.
