Agreed. The excitement over the recent PR has to do with what is expected to happen, now with more certainty than ever; less risk. An arbitrage play between what people expect the SP will be after THE news and what the SP will be after the derisk they attribute to the PR. If the shorts have the balls, they could hit the sell hard on Monday after the initial pop up in SP. I don't think the gains, if any, will be worth it even if it's only retail investors participating in the run up. The trading action tomorrow will be interesting.
