Hoops,
Each of the hundreds of thousands of deaths is a tragedy. This expansion is a very small but important step. The vast majority of the patients in need will still not have access.
I transported a Covid patient early this week, mid forties with room air SpO2 under 50%.
Prayers, airway support and dexamethasone are the only current hopes for him and his family.
I try not to dwell on all who have died, always trying to look forward. Many in healthcare wouldn’t be able to go to work if they carried the weight of all who have died.
Cytodyn, Moderna, Pfizer/Biontech will lead us to be a better 2021.
For that I am eternally grateful.
