Indeed today's press releases could be read as a heads up to treating physicians.
There is certainly no economic reason to PR on Christmas eve. Thats just bad business.
But if you want to give the docs at the trials sites a heads up that they are may attempt to clear their ICUs using leornlimab on Monday, then today is the day to PR.
I wonder if its really an 8 minute decision. Possibly the doc can make the decsion, dose the patient, and then fill out the paperwork later in the day, i don't know.
The PR on imminent label expansion needs to precede the opening by at least a couple days because the trial sites probably do not have enough leronlimab to treat all of their ICU patients today.
But by Monday the CD12 hospitals may get additional shipments, giving them enough LL to treat some or most of their covid ICU on Monday.
Perhaps four days is enough time for each CD12 hospital to prepare to treat the hundred or so patients that are very sick with covid.
Probably not but who knows. Recknor would probably go for it but his clinic is outpatient. Seethamraju might treat every s/c covid patient inside Montefiore.
